DESCRIPTION:
French onyx, 8 days, time and strike, mantel clock with cast gilt metal feet and ornaments, c1900
CONDITION:
the veined tan marble case has no losses or damage except for very minor edge roughness, and the gilt metal shows some wear and darkening. The porcelain dial, indistinctly signed, has some small hairlines and chips. The cast beaded bezel and beveled glass are good. The movement, stamped "A1", ticks and strikes but was not tested long term. Measures 9" x 8 " x 5"
